NCAA Basketball Preview for Xavier-La Salle

Xavier is one of those teams that keep winning games, despite having poor performances in a number of areas. Somehow, they find a way to get it done, and they have the winning record to prove it, but they are not playing solid basketball in many of their wins. They will have an opportunity to improve the fundamentals playing La Salle on Tuesday night, however.

The Xavier Musketeers are currently ranked 25th, with a record of 20-6, 11-1, and have won twelve of their last thirteen games. On Saturday, they beat Fordham 79-72, despite being out-rebounded 38-32. They were also outscored in second-chance points 14-7. This game may have been one of the closest calls for Fordham, which has not won a game in the league in the last two years.
